Jewellery care
Silver and Gold
Sterling silver and gold pieces are safe for everyday wear, however, their appearance may change over time.
Remove your jewellery when swimming in chlorinated water as it can tarnish silver.
Cleaning
To clean your jewellery, use warm, mild soapy water and a soft bristle brush (toothbrush) to clean your jewellery.
If your jewellery doesn't contain gemstones, you can also use a metal-specific cleaning cloth (i.e. jewellery cleaning cloth) or metal-specific cleaning solution.
Do not use chemical cleaning solutions on gemstones.
Gemstones
Gemstones like diamonds, moissanite, sapphire, rubies and corundums can be worn in the shower or swimming.
For softer stones (like opal and peridot), as a general rule of thumb, we don't recommend wearing gemstones while showering, swimming, or exposing them to chemicals like skincare and perfume. These stones shouldn't be cleaned using jewellery cleaning chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners.
